Starting with . . . . A very cool, relaxed & delicious breakfast, the start to a good day in Newquay.

BREAKFAST, the most important meal of the day . . . .

Yes you can spend £2.99 on a breakfast at The Cribbar, (A Wetherspoon Pub; although not a bad bit of grub if they actually cook the bacon!!), but I often leave feeling full in the tummy, but undernourished mentally / spiritually . . . . .

There are other cafes n restaurants that will serve you a breakfast, in their stiff chairs, with their hungover waiters/waitresses etc. etc. BUT have you ever had a breakfast lying down, or as close to horizontal as you wanna get????

ENTER The Beached Lamb Cafe;

I consider it the ultimate destination for a relaxed breakfast in Newquay.

WHY????

Oh, thaz easy!!!

The love and respect for the food brims over the plate when it's gently served at your low slung coffee table, with a huge smile!

Yeah, low slung coffee tables, and big cushions and Mon Sam Lieung (Thai Trianglular Cushions) to just roll about on around your coffee table, whilst supping lovely milkshakes, waiting for your lovingly prepared meal.

I present Newquay's greatest Burgers in Brioche Buns.

I present a wonderfully prepared breakfast till noon.

Insane milkshake recipes.

And just, well a very chilled cafe in Newquay!!!

Go there and relax.

O.

An introduction, to help you eat well in Newquay . . . .

Hello all . . . .

Ok, so I'm local to Newquay and more importantly I adore food; good food cooked with love and respect. It's obvious when it's presented on the plate at the table, when you have a kitchen striving for great!!

I do do pub grub, but you won't find many listed on this blog as most of the pubs cater for drunken visitors, they do not give a monkeys about what has gone on behind the scenes to create their food. Their food, generally, is reserved for soaking up the booze from the night before or from the early start they had that morning!!

So, over the coming months, I shall be listing my favorite haunts for a real good feed in Newquay.

There will be takeaways and restaurants listed.

I hope, if you do find these suggestions, and if you do decide to visit one listed, that you enjoy yourself.

Ta for now . . . .

Ollie.
